From $34,900 · up to 314 mi range · SUV · seats 5
For 2026 Toyota dropped the "4X," gave the bZ a bigger 74.7 kWh battery, more power and a native NACS port, and cut the base price to $34,900. The result is a real Model Y alternative from a brand people already trust: up to 314 miles of EPA range on the XLE FWD Plus (236 on the base 57.7 kWh car), 4.9-second 0-60 with AWD, and 10-80% charging in about 30 minutes. It is also easy to find: Toyota sold about 9,400 bZ and bZ Woodland models in the US in Q3 2026 alone.
Charging a typical new EV (30 kWh per 100 miles) at home costs about $55 per 1,000 miles at the national average rate, from $38 in Louisiana to $144 in Hawaii (EIA, July 2026). See your state's EV vs gas numbers or run your own.
