The IONIQ 5 is the EV that makes people do a double-take in parking lots. It's got this retro-futuristic design that looks like nothing else on the road, and the interior is even better -- a completely flat floor (no center tunnel), reclining front seats, and a design that feels more like a living room than a car. But the real headline is 800-volt architecture with 350 kW DC fast charging. Hyundai rates the 2026 model at about 24 minutes from 10% to 80% on a 350 kW charger (about 20 with the smaller battery), quicker than most 400-volt EVs. For 2026, Hyundai dropped the starting price to $35,000 -- making this one of the best EV values on the market at any price.
