Home / Used EVs / Used Chevrolet Equinox EV · Prices as of October 2026
A used market exists: about $26,600 median asking ($25,300 for 2024, $27,200 to $29,000 for 2025). Biggest thing to check: tire and pedestrian-alert recalls, and an honest answer that long-run battery data does not exist yet. Prices are dealer asking prices from October 2026 listings, not sale prices, so expect to negotiate.
| Model year | Average asking (CarGurus) |
|---|---|
| 2024 | $25,300 to $25,700 |
| 2025 | $27,200 to $29,000 |
| 2026 | $34,500 |
Our price ranges, rounded to $500:
All cars are 0 to 3 years old, so the spread is mostly trim and mileage. Asking prices, not sale prices.
Across all EVs: Geotab (about 22,700 EVs, 21 models; press release Jan 13 2026; blog Apr 28 2026): average battery degradation is 2.3% a year, up from 1.8% in Geotab's earlier study (Geotab's page dates that study 2023 in one place and 2024 in another). Cars that DC fast charge on under 12% of sessions lose 1.5% a year; over 12% lose 2.5% a year. Hot-climate cars lose about 0.4% a year more than mild-climate cars.
We could not confirm on Chevrolet's own documents whether the battery warranty transfers to a second owner, so confirm it by VIN with a dealer before you buy. The clock always runs from the car's original in-service date.
