No Nevada EV rebate and no EV registration surcharge. NV Energy's EV rider prices overnight charging near 7 to 8 cents/kWh and it pays for managed charging.
The $7,500 federal new-EV credit and $4,000 used-EV credit ended September 30, 2025, and the federal home-charger credit (30C) followed on June 30, 2026. If anyone tells you otherwise, they're reading an old script. (Charger installed on or before June 30, 2026? That one's still claimable on that year's return. IRS Form 8911.)
No state-level purchase incentive right now, the money in Nevada, if any, is at the utility level.
Not cash, so we don't count these as programs, but a good overnight rate can be worth more than a one-time rebate.
Add-on to NV Energy's optional time-of-use plans: charging from 12:01am to 8am costs about 7 to 8 cents/kWh (rates effective Oct 1, 2026). Peak prices on those plans are much higher, so it pays only if you charge overnight.
No statewide EV surcharge as of 2026, fee legislation has been proposed but not enacted. Standard registration + Government Services Tax only.
