Louisiana has no state EV money. Entergy and SWEPCO each pay $250 toward a home Level 2 charger, and EV owners owe a $110/yr road usage fee ($60 for hybrids).
The $7,500 federal new-EV credit and $4,000 used-EV credit ended September 30, 2025, and the federal home-charger credit (30C) followed on June 30, 2026. If anyone tells you otherwise, they're reading an old script. (Charger installed on or before June 30, 2026? That one's still claimable on that year's return. IRS Form 8911.)

Hybrids pay $60/yr (the law says hybrid vehicles, not just plug-ins). Starting with 2026 the fee is collected by OMV; 2025 and earlier years were paid to the Department of Revenue by May 15.
