2026 Tesla Model S

From $79,990 · up to 410 mi range · Sedan · seats 5

The Model S is the car that started it all for Tesla, and it's still the benchmark for long-range electric sedans. Up to 410 miles of range, 0-60 in 3.1 seconds on the AWD (the Plaid does it under 2 seconds), and Tesla's full suite of software and Supercharger access. The controversial yoke steering wheel is still there (regular wheel is now optional), and the interior is minimal but spacious. Starting around $80k, it's moved solidly into luxury territory. It runs on 400V architecture with 250 kW Supercharger speeds -- not the fastest charging, but the range means you rarely need to stop. The Plaid variant is one of the fastest production cars on the planet, full stop.
