Love Tesla or hate them, the Model 3 is the car that proved EVs could be mainstream. It starts around $37,000, gives you 321 miles of range on the base Standard (up to 363 on the Premium RWD), and comes with access to the largest and most reliable fast-charging network in the country. The minimalist interior is polarizing (everything runs through a center touchscreen, no instrument cluster), but once you get used to it, it's hard to go back. The Supercharger network alone is a massive advantage, especially for road trips. Say what you will about Elon, the car is good.
