The R2 Premium is the next R2 to arrive and the first step down in price: two motors, 450 horsepower, 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and the same 330-mile range figure as the Launch Edition, for $53,990 plus destination. Rivian lists it as coming late 2026. It gives up some of the Launch Edition's power to save $4,000. Until it lands, the only R2 you can buy is the $57,990 Launch Edition, and the $44,990 R2 Standard follows in 2027.
