Polestar is Volvo's electric performance brand, and the Polestar 2 is their sharpest offering. It's a sport sedan with Google Built-In (native Google Maps, Google Assistant, Play Store for apps), Scandinavian minimalist design, and driving dynamics that give the Model 3 genuine competition. The interior is beautiful in a restrained way -- high-quality materials, clean lines, no gimmicks. For 2026, only the Long Range Dual Motor is available in the US with an 82 kWh battery. It can tow up to 3,300 lbs, which is surprisingly useful for a sedan. It doesn't have Tesla's charging network or software ecosystem, but it drives better than a Model 3 and has an interior that doesn't feel like a tech demo.
