The Ariya is Nissan's answer to everyone who said "I like the LEAF but I need more... everything." It's a proper midsize electric SUV with up to 304 miles of range, a sleek interior with a flat floor, and Nissan's e-4ORCE AWD system. The design is clean and modern -- a big step up from the quirky old LEAF styling. Heads up: 2025 is the final model year for the Ariya in the US, so if you want one, grab it from dealer inventory while you can. The main knock is that DC fast charging tops out at 130 kW on 400-volt architecture, which is slower than the Hyundai/Kia 800V competition. But for daily driving and the occasional road trip, it's a solid choice.
