From $47,500 · up to 307 mi range · Sedan · seats 5
The all-new ES is the first Lexus sedan with a battery-electric option, and it caught on fast: Lexus sold about 6,000 electric ES models in Q3 2026, more than any EV on this list except the Model Y, Model 3, IONIQ 5 and bZ. The front-drive ES 350e gets up to 307 miles of EPA range and starts at $47,500 plus destination; the AWD ES 500e makes 338 horsepower and does 0-60 in 5.1 seconds. Charging peaks at 150 kW (about 28 minutes from 10 to 80%), slower than a Model 3, but the ride and quiet are pure Lexus.
Charging a typical new EV (30 kWh per 100 miles) at home costs about $55 per 1,000 miles at the national average rate, from $38 in Louisiana to $144 in Hawaii (EIA, July 2026). See your state's EV vs gas numbers or run your own.
