2027 BMW iX5

From $79,800 · up to 435 mi range · SUV · seats 5

The iX5 is the battery-electric version of the new fifth-generation X5, built in South Carolina and due in US showrooms in the first quarter of 2027 as the iX5 60 xDrive at $79,800 plus destination. The headline numbers are BMW's: a 141 kWh battery, up to 435 miles of range (the EPA has not rated it yet), 800 volts and up to 460 kW of DC charging, about 23 minutes from 10 to 80%. It takes over from the iX as BMW's big electric SUV. Until it lands, the iX3 is the BMW EV you can actually buy.
